    Pebble/cobble beach sheltered by peninsula. NE cobbles, some boulders at high water. SE mostly sand. Seasonal creek. Whale viewing. Anchorage. Historic hiking trail to Telegraph Cove. Sheltered forest upland camping in 3 locations or on large beach.
  • Blunden Harbour (BCMT)
    Sand/mud/rock beach with grass strip usable to ~4.6m tide. Sheltered, undeveloped. Good seasonal creek. Respect IR (reserve) land. Old house at village site.
  • Boat Bay (BCMT)
    Moderate gravel beach, drift logs at high water, canoe run through large cobble at mid water. Mud, sand at low water. Tent pads. Pit toilet. Cookhouse. Food cache. Might be exclusive commercial in future. Water at seasonal creek. Views and viewpoint.
  • Booker Lagoon (BCMT)
    Approach at NW side, NE end. Rock shelf, no beach. Tidal rapid at lagoon entrance, max current 8 kn. Grassy saddle in mid islet with firs at either end. Well protected. Swimming from landing ledges.

    Sand at centre beach, cobble, boulders at sides or at mid or high water. Enter bay to E of boomer. Reefs give some protection from E. Strong currents in Wells Passage. Upland site for 2 tents 30 m behind point or rock bluff at S end of beach.

    Shell, sand beach. Sheltered, undeveloped. Large forested upland site reached from N end of beach along shell trail. Suited to small groups. Additional beach camping except at Springs. Attractive.

    Sand, gravel beach. Some boulders at low water. May have surge. Currents in Providence Passage. Passage between Cedar, Midsummer Is dries. Large clear area in gloomy forest. Some sites slope. Open to afternoon sun. Good alternative to Owl Is N.
  • Christie Passage (BCMT)
    Dispersed site secondary. Up steep bank 4 M high on obvious midden. 50° 50.278"N 127° 35.618"W. Not visible from main passage. No facilities,Random wilderness camping. No fees charged. Obvious midden location, so avoid all fires except on beach.

    Campsite and picnic area. Water available, but not potable due to manganese issues (2022). Registration at RV resort office. Pebble beach. Alternate kayak landing in estuary.

    Low gradient beach of mud, sand with many small boulders at low water. S aspect. Protected. Camp on high bench in trees behind large boulder on beach. Beach floods at Springs. Water at seasonal creek to W of tent sites. Attractive. Aka Sunday Harbour.
  • Cypress Harbour (BCMT)
    Moderately steep beach. Patches of sand, grass but mainly mixed rocks at low, mid water. Signpost visible from water. 5 developed large double sites. 6 picnic tables. Fire rings. Can be damp, buggy. Regrowth of small alders. Water at creek 0.5 NM to E.
  • Deep Sea Bluff (BCMT)
    Beach camping for 2 tents on tiny tombolo, if tide less than 4.1 M Alert Bay but driftwood might prevent use. Upland accessible up steep bank with 3 potential rough tent sites, in need of brushing. Reported as unusable 2021. View. Widlife viewing.
  • Dobbin Bay (BCMT)
    Shallow mud beach with boulders. Impractical at lower tide levels. Marginal site. Water at small creek. Undeveloped. Possible site to W of creek or at the head of the bay on solid rock which is dry at nearly all tides.
  • Dusky Cove north (BCMT)
    Sand, rock beach. Some boulders. Dispersed site secondary. Camp on rough grass. Likely wet at Springs.

    Wide cobble beach. Some brushing in second growth forest needed. Beach camp possible at neaps.

    Gravel, shell, mud beach. Good protection from SE, fair from W. Tree deadfall blocks much of beach. Sheltered, undeveloped. Camping in 2 clear areas on small headland facing an islet. Frequently used by commercial groups. Potential sites on nearby islands

    Protected pocket gravel beach at high water, large smooth rocks at low water. E aspect. Small sloped beach margin sites. Dense vegetation in upland. Marginal site but suitable for emergency or transitory use.

  • Howcraft Bay (BCMT)
    High beach. Long carry at low water. Patch of sand at all tide levels. Rocks (boulders?). Camp among drift logs on beach at neaps or on beach grass by creek at higher water levels. Dense vegetation upland. Water at creek.

    Dispersed site secondary. Minor brushing required in upland forest. Beach camp possible on gravel. Attractive. Trail across isthmus.

    Firm gravel/cobble beach, some rocks at low tide. Extensive site along old road. Maintained by Namgis First Nation. Adjacent commercial site has more infra, and heavy use by guided groups. Water at creek. Views.
  • Kent Island (BCMT)
    Low gradient sand, gravel, boulder beach protected at all tides. End of the lagoon muddy. Day use. Undeveloped. Sheltered. Camp at top of beach between bushes, above all but highest tides. Level pebble, gravel. Other sites to N have worse landings.
  • Kent Island 2 (BCMT)
    Day use. Small stream crosses SW part of beach. Directly to NE of stream,10 m path leads to tent flat behind big cedar. May need brushing. Alternate camp on protected beach. Additional upland potential sites could be brushed.

    Protected pebble beach of moderate gradient. E aspect. Dispersed site secondary. Level upland forest sites.but deadfall makes access awkward. Tent sites could be readily brushed out.

    Low gradient clam bed with bedrock outcrops. Dispersed site secondary. S side has camping on open headland between S end of Leone I, islets.. Pit toilet reported on NW side - area not checked.
  • Lesser Berry Island (BCMT)
    Protected beach at high water, mixed rocks at low water, very low tides impractical. Passage between Leone and Berry Islands dries. Undeveloped level upland sites. Rustic benches. Also possible sites with toilet on Leone Island, opposite, but not checked.

    Pebble, gravel beach, with cobbles, boulders at sides. Moderate gradient. Protected from N, E, SE. Currents to 3 kn in Swanson Passage. Campsite primary. 5 wooden tent pads in upland forest. Pole shed kitchen shelter. Fire pit. Trail to Rough Islets site.

    Sheltered, undeveloped. Small campsite at S end of first lagoon to S. on uneven grass. Tidal clearance unknown. Vague reports of better sites on lakes, reached by paddling up creeks, but likely refer to salt lagoons.
  • Moore Bay (BCMT)
    Dock with float. NW aspect. Adjacent beach landing to SE near creek gives access on cobble, boulder, bedrock at all water levels. Sign visible from water. Developed site in mature trees. Picnic infra. Creek likely year-round.

    Natural boat run up into a pocket cove that appears usable at all tide levels. Upland behind looks usable for camping as the brush and undergrowth in the trees was not heavy and level ground was visible in the openings further up.

    Protected steep cobble, gravel beach. Spacious, semi-exposed camp on level gravel bar. Some protection from NW. Water at creek. Attractive. Road nearby.

    Rock/pebble/cobble at mid water levels. Most or all beaches flood at high water, leaving angular bedrock. Boulders present at low water. Potential high water landing beach on S. Attractive small tent sites in open just above shoreline. View, wild flowers.
  • Spiller Passage (BCMT)
    White shell beach. Steep wooded "platform" above. Access from main E beach blocked 2019 by blown down trees. May land on W side of rocky point instead. Camp in forest above. One visible tent pad. Potential for about 3 more. Kayak Bill site.
